About The Hidden Cabin

The Hidden Cabin is a private and quiet off-grid cabin intended for writing retreats and time away from the pace of everyday life.

It is especially well suited for someone looking to write, reflect, or simply spend some quiet time close to nature.

The cabin is rustic and intentionally simple, with a full-size bed, workspace, private outhouse, outdoor kitchen, and nearby access to the Van Duzen River.

Stay details

Monthly rate: $850/month
Weekly rate: $350/week
Minimum stay: 1 week

Good to know

Wood-fired sauna

Guests have access to the farm’s shared, handcrafted cedar sauna anytime. Wood-fired and naturally finished, it’s a peaceful place to warm up and unwind after a day outside.

Getting here

The road to the farm is rough and unpaved. Four-wheel drive is not required, but a vehicle with moderate ground clearance is strongly recommended.

Pets

Pets may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
$100 refundable pet deposit.

Please note

Many people enjoy using this place as a digital detox. Cabins do not have electricity. Portable power stations are available for guests to use, however power is limited. Solar charging is available.

Internet is not provided and cell service is limited. There is a cell booster on the property. Guests who need internet should bring their own device and power station.
